15 de Junio del 2023, El Clúster de Energía de Chihuahua (CECH) busca fortalecer la competitividad de la industria local y de manufactura bajo el esquema de la “Triple Hélice: Academia, Industria y Gobierno”. CECH ha consolidado el desarrollo económico de la región: Chihuahua México, El Paso Texas y New México USA. Participando en el crecimiento y éxito con el Tratado Estados Unidos-México-Canadá (T-MEC).

Besides CECH support energy services for “Nearshoring”, concept where Chihuahua Mexico is a common destination by USA, and international companies to progressively transferring part of their production from far away countries to be close to their markets, with similar time zones, in order to minimize the effects of disruptions in supply chains. And with the main advantage of special factories program known as “maquilas”, that are manufacturing plants that imports and assembles duty-free components for export. Under this program they are duty-free and tariff-free, besides experienced professional support and manufacturing workers.
